Refund Policy
We stand behind every course we sell. If you are genuinely not satisfied within 30 days of purchase and have completed less than 25% of the course, we will refund you in full. Our guarantee exists for learners who find the course is not right for them — not as a mechanism to access all content for free.
How to Request a Refund
Requesting a refund is straightforward. Follow these three steps:
Send your refund request to [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request". Include your name, the email address used at purchase, and a brief reason for your request.
We'll check your request against our eligibility criteria and confirm whether a refund can be approved. We review course completion data as part of this process.
Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method — via Stripe or PayPal depending on how you paid. Refunds typically complete within 3–5 business days.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a refund, all of the following must apply:
- Your refund request is submitted within 30 calendar days of your original purchase date
- You have completed less than 25% of the course content at the time of your request — this is measured by lessons watched and tracked automatically in your account
- You have not previously received a refund from AI101.uk on any course
- The course was purchased directly from AI101.uk
- Your request includes a brief reason for why the course has not met your expectations
The 25% completion threshold exists because a learner who has worked through a quarter or more of a course has received substantial value from that content. We believe this threshold is fair — it gives you meaningful time to evaluate the course before committing fully, while protecting against bad-faith use of the guarantee.
Exceptions & Declined Requests
We reserve the right to decline a refund request in the following circumstances:
- The request is made more than 30 calendar days after the original purchase date
- Course completion data shows you have watched more than 25% of the lessons
- You have previously received a refund from AI101.uk on any course
- There is evidence of bad-faith use of the guarantee — for example, purchasing a course, completing the majority of the content, and then requesting a refund without a genuine reason
- The refund request contains no reason, or the reason given does not relate to the course content or quality
- The purchase was made through a third-party platform or reseller — in which case that platform's refund policy applies
We make these decisions fairly and with good judgement. If you are a genuine learner who found the course was not right for you, we will always do our best to find a fair resolution — even if your circumstances fall outside the standard criteria. Please contact us and explain your situation.
Partial Refunds
In exceptional circumstances — for example, where a learner has completed slightly more than 25% of a course but has a compelling reason for their dissatisfaction — we may at our discretion offer a partial refund proportionate to the content not yet accessed. This is at our sole discretion and is not a right under this policy.
What Happens After a Refund
Once a refund is approved and processed:
- Your access to the course and all associated materials will be removed immediately
- Any AI101.uk Certificate of Completion issued will be considered void
- You may not re-enrol on the same course and request a further refund
- You are welcome to re-enrol at the then-current price, but no further refund will be available on that course
Your Statutory Rights
As a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Nothing in this policy limits or replaces those rights.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you normally have a 14-day cooling-off period for digital purchases. By choosing to access your course content immediately after purchase, you expressly acknowledge that you are requesting early access and that your statutory 14-day cancellation right is thereby waived. Our 30-day satisfaction guarantee provides protection beyond this statutory baseline, subject to the eligibility conditions set out above.
If you believe we have handled a refund request unfairly, you may contact the Citizens Advice consumer helpline or, for disputes involving payments, raise a complaint with your card issuer or PayPal's Resolution Centre.
